South Korea’s STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. said Thursday it has won a 106 billion won (US$94.9 million) order from a Singaporean shipper to build two oil tankers.
The deal signed with BW Pacific Ltd. includes delivering the tankers between 2016 and 2017, the company said in an e-mailed statement. The name of the firm placing the order was not disclosed.
In December 2014, STX Offshore won an order for four oil tankers from the Singaporean company.
