China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has announced the launch of China’s first dual fuel harbor tug, the CNOOC 521,  from their Huangpu Shipyard.

Principal dimensions:

• LOA: 38.6 m

• Beam: 11.6 m

• Draft: 4.1 m 

• LNG fuel storage: (2) 25 cubic meter LNG tanks

The vessel was built for CNOOC Energy Development and no further details on the propulsion system was detailed by CSSC on their website.
